lyrics
I walked upright and thought
Before the idea of Eden spread it’s foliage and flowered into word.
I named the word. My hinged jaw swung open.
Sonic air rolled across my tongue
I swelled the human heart beat with breath,
I dreamed the drum when dawns were dumb and
Not even wheeling ibises had heard of song!
I stretched my skin across the Void
That issues suns, and supernova planets and galaxies
Fierce hawk-headed ebon skinned deities were conceived in my pregnant pulse.
I birthed the pyramids, raised them from the sands of the earth
I conjured magic from the stardust the swirls into solid spheres.
I cast these spheres against the swarth sky and the shattered into constellations, spangled the heavens with myth with mystery
I am the revelation
I surfaced and strode atop the earth
My name is creation
I. am. first.
